Singing Your Way Through Cancer: A Journey into the Heart of Wellness

With Tarisha – Singer, Healer, and Facilitator

Wednesday evenings, 7-9pm, 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th of May 2026

Join us for four heart-centered evenings of singing, sharing, and community designed for anyone affected by cancer—whether you are living with it yourself, supporting someone you love, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of wellness in the face of illness.

Through the power of music, collective singing, and shared experience, this program offers emotional, spiritual, and practical support. You’ll leave each session feeling uplifted, relaxed, and connected, ready to carry the sense of peace and wellbeing into your everyday life.

Tarisha brings 16 years of lived experience with cancer, alongside a lifetime of music, love, and spiritual practice, to guide these sessions. This is a space to feel supported, understood, and inspired.

Who This Is For:

  • People living with cancer seeking emotional and spiritual support
  • Family members, friends, or carers who want to support their loved ones
  • Anyone who wishes to connect with community, music, and wellbeing practices

No prior singing experience is needed. Your voice is a healing instrument exactly as it is, and everyone participates in a safe, nurturing environment.

Why This Works

Cancer and serious illness can be overwhelming, scary, and isolating. Singing Your Way Through Cancer helps you:

  • Step out of fear and contraction into love, connection, and joy
  • Reconnect with your heart, spirit, and sense of purpose
  • Experience a high-quality life, no matter the challenges you face

Even if you don’t feel confident singing, the vibrations of your own voice combined with the collective intention of the group are profoundly healing.

"When I was first diagnosed, a healing practitioner said something powerful that has stayed with me til now. ‘It is not how long you live Tarisha, it’s how open your heart is.’ There was some work to be done there. I had to forgive myself for things I had done in life which had closed my heart.. big time.

I truly believe that when we live with an open heart, life is manageable no matter what it throws at us. Singing opens the heart! Being with others walking the same (or similar) path, has us feel less alone which also opens the heart. "

Testimonial

Tarisha is a leader of a large community. She is a woman in radiant health and has a presence visible in the people who gather around and follow her. I came across her talk about her cancer journey which inspired me as a GP.

Healthcare workers often through limited time and resources feel at a loss to offer holistic perspective and explore case studies of success stories where alternative treatments and approaches work. This can result in people with a cancer diagnosis feeling increasingly fearful and disempowered. There is also a knowledge gap for busy clinicians about how diet, mental health and even spiritual wellness can significantly improve a patients cancer journey and physical outcomes. Here, Tarisha is brilliantly placed through navigating her own cancer journey, exploration of experts in every field beyond what is, mostly, quite a limited field of clinical expertise and experience.

I was deeply inspired by Tarisha's talk. As a GP, hearing how she was able to tune in to her, 'inner wellness chief,' inspired me and is a framework I share anecdotally with patients to help them. Her wisdom and power and journey in this field is in need of sharing, not least the visible positive physical outcomes from her own practices.
